UpdatedIs there a problem if I drink grapefruit juice while I am on Coveram 10?

Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between grapefruit juice and Coveram (perindopril arginine).
However, there are precautions pertaining to potassium-rich foods (which may include grapefruit in higher quantities)
This interaction recommends avoiding moderate to high levels of dietary potassium intake. Apparently it can lead to unsafe levels of potassium in your blood, which can put you at risk for other serious complications.
You can learn more about this drug on the page for Perindopril Details
I hope this info helps!
Read the package insert. There is a specific warning NOT to eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while on Coveram. "Taking COVERAM with food and drink
COVERAM should be taken before a meal.
Grapefruit juice and grapefruit should not be consumed by people who are taking COVERAM. This is
because grapefruit and grapefruit j
uice can lead to an increase in the blood levels of the active ingredient
amlodipine, which can cause an unpredictable increase in the blood pressure lowering effect of COVERAM" In other words it may cause your blood pressure to drop noticeably.
