Hello! I was taking 5 mg. bystolic for 1 yr. until I experienced terrible side effects that I make me so disable to do anything and has been taken to the ER within 2 months period of time. My primary physician told me to stop taking it two months ago and try an alternative way of stabilizing my bp (as a trial and error first!) instead by enrolling at Zacharias Ganey Health Institute for a 10 week Course this summer. To make this story short, without taking bystolic now, my bp is normal ( lower than 130/80) everyday though it spike up once in a while to 200/ 110. However, I feel so much better and I can drive my car now BUT there are days I still feel nauseous esp. early in the morning when I got up and hasn't taken my breakfast yet or at times when I was outside the house or just sitting at home. I'm 44 yrs. old, btw. Now my question is: do you think Im still experiencing the side effects of bystolic in my body? If yes, how long will it takes my body to get rid of these side effects since it is been 2 months already Im not taking it? Right now, I'm meds free except for all vits. I'm taking everyday. Thank you! Hope to hear from you.

No, you'd not still be experiencing side effects from the Bystolic that long after taking it.

When you are checking your blood pressure and getting the high readings? The same question regarding the low ones?

Do you take any other medications? Do you have any other medical conditions?
