Side Effects-aten 25

I am 60+. I have been prescribed by a Doctor to have half of Aten 25mg after break-fast. I have been on this medication since 7 years. I am keen to know if it has any side effect. I thank if some one can give me the answer.

Did you mean to ask about long term effects?

Because side effects only last for a short while, as your body adjusts to a medication.

There is a risk that long-term usage of Atenolol may cause damage to the liver, or kidneys, but not controlling your blood pressure would be far, far more risky.
