Side Effect Of Xarelto

Can xarelto cause knee and thigh pain,I have been taking it since Oct 11-2015,my right side hurt when trying to walk,and plus iam taking diltiazem to.I get dizziness mostly every day ,I have Afib

My last post was October 2015 I went to my doctor and he took me off xarelto because I was having side effects I have pain in my knee and muscle pain in my legs and thighs since I've been off of it my pain has left,

Hi moe,

I realize this is a bit late seeing as your last post was back in January. I just wanted to add in regards to Xarelto's side effects, that dizziness and pain in the arms or legs, are both listed as possible adverse events on the page for the US National Library of Medicine at: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0045374/#DDIC603481.side_effects_section

There's also a category of side effects in the link above titled "Incidence unknown" - as if to say that Xarelto was suspected of causing these symptoms, but they weren't completely sure it was the culprit. Under this list I see "lower back or side pain", as well as "joint or muscle pain". Perhaps it's more than a coincidence?

At any rate, I hope you're continuing to be well now that you've stopped taking it. Thanks for sharing your experience!
