Side Effect Of Metronidazole

I have been on metronidazole for 3 days now for stomach bacteria. One of the side effects is the metalic bitter taste and or tongue/mouth irritation. Is there anything I can take or drink that will make that side effect go away or more tolerable?

Hello, Red! How are you? Yes, that is an annoying side effect.

I found that some sodas seemed to help, if you're allowed to drink them.

You may want to try mints, mouthwash or some type of strong candy that could help overpower it.

Does anyone else have any ideas?
