Side Effect Of Olmesar H 40 Stamlo 5 Mg

Is there any side effect of these medicine? I am taking olmesar 40 mg &stamlo 10 mg.there is a swelling in my foot up to knee in both legs.Before taking this medicine my blood pr was 100&160 mg. Now it is 80&130 mg. Now my Doctor has advised me to change the doses as olmesar H 40 mg in the morning after break fast &stamlo 5 mg in the night.

Olmesartan is an ARB that is mainly used to treat high blood pressure.

This class of medications usually carries a very low risk of side effects for most people, but you may experience: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

Stamlo contains the active ingredient Amlodipine, it is a calcium channel blocker that is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and other cardiac conditions.

I am only guessing, but this is probably the cause of your problem. This class of medications is known to cause serious side effects in some people that are sensitive to it. I was on it for about a month and had to stop taking it due to severe problems.

One of it's most common is peripheral edema, which would explain the swelling in your legs, it can also cause nausea, headache and severe stomach pain.

If you are sensitive to it, then lowering the dosage may not help. If the swelling continues, contact your doctor and tell them you need to try something else.

2 months earlier i had a check up regarding bp.
it was determined 160/106.
doctor suggested to take olmesar 40 , rozaval tablets
i continued the same for 2 months but now my bp has lowered to 90/60
should i continue the same tablets????????

I work for Mushroom Softech and started taking Olmesar about a month ago on doctor's advise. After a week or so I started getting RBC in my urine and my protein level shot upto +++ which is a known side effect of this medicine. I stopped this medicine immediately.

My specialist prescribed Stamlo T once after breakfast.
My chemist gave me Stamlo 5 and Telma 40 tablets advising to take them together instead of Stamlo T. Is this alright? I have a some swelling in my feet for the last 2 days - after using the medicine for 15 days. Is it because of any side effect of the drugs given?
