Side Affects And Withdrawal

My husband was diagnosed with lupus in july 2007. he was put on prenisone and then in January 2008 he started on cellcept. after this many months he started with diareha. he had a colonoscopy to rule out other problems. the doctor was sure that the diarehia was from the cellcelp. he stopped the cellcept this past friday. will my husband have withdrawal and will the diarehia stop. should they start another type of therapy in place of the cellcep.

I have been on cellcept for nearly 5 years now(kidney transplant). Your husband's diareha can be from the cellcept. I went off of cellcept when I got pregnant with my son. After I had him I had to go back on cellcept and I got diareha, I remember when I first started cellcept I had it also. I hope this helps.
