What's going on with roxicodone ?In south Florida they are not available now for 3 weeks.Can anyone tell me when they will be back on the market.I have been on this med. for 3 years, and I am deadly afraid of withdrawels.Any news ?

agreed really? where, I have switched to eerything over the last year and nothing worksl Plus I don't have insurance so driving around in circles burns up the gas and
breaks the back more from sitting

I would have to agree with you. I used a credit card- so I will get the money back as I will just protest the transaction. BUT- my script hasn't shown up and.that hurts. I am going to go back to my doc and explain the deal and see if he will have pity and re-write me one. Pray so....and medsfast is a SCAM. When I call there is a message saying "scripts are being returned and refunds are coming" but I am not waiting on them. F--ckers, praying on people. They should be shot.

This Medsfastfl.com is a scam they take your money and scripts and now they will not return your calls and you messages and no call backs the so called CEO is a Shannon Fuller he talk a good game but I found out the hard way I got ripped off so BEWARE it is a scam still no scripts back and no money back either.

This is correct Medco will no longer let you use mail order unless your company signs up. My company dropped them Jan 1st and I was using them as a person with no insurance. I got a call 4/11 from them saying they no longer would fill my prescriptions.

Hey Elinor, medsfast has been closed apparently. I am waiting my script in return mail...Grr. I am still stuck and going to have to.switch my script for dialudid once I get it back. Just sucks. MEDCO would not allow me to sign up, although I used to be a patient if theirs a few years ago.
If you have any other ideas...I am at the end of my rope... Thanks and God bless.

Not anymore. They won't take you unless your current company uses them for mail orders...

You mentioned Medco was bust .. BUT i heard if you tell them you have no insurance .. it's $ 10.00 to join & I know of people who use it with no problems .. maybe try again ??? Good Luck again.. sorry, wish I could help more .. elinor ...

And the others are a bust. I just called them both and still "Stuck in South FL"...
I didn't ask for this hand to.be dealt, it was and I am just trying to make it through. It is.disgusting that these people make it soo tough for someone who actually needs these meds to get them. I bet all the "doc shoppers" and the like still find ways, as I know of people who sell in the street...I just choose not to go through that. I suffer as I wish to play by the rules....and it isn't fair.

Think that MEDCO is impossible. The quickscript looks promising.

Also I forgot to mention that .. medsfastfl .. is for Florida 3 counties only & I believe there's another called:
quickscriptfl & they cater to 3 other counties... so they're both for florida .. so I hope you are too ... Medco I believe is more widespread .. again .. Good Luck !!

MacDude .. tried to give you some websites .. I think because of that .. it is in review ??? IDK ... but their are RX mail order delivery services out there... Instead of waiting for the post ... here's a few ... just Goggle......

MacDude .. there are a few mail orders I am aware of and more ... many people in my Pain Org., use them... One is called MED CO@ Medco Rx Discount Program & reg; - Access prescription discounts on the medications you need

We are ALL SUFFERING .. This is a travesty to the American People of Pain ... People are literally dying w/o their medications ... It is so sad .. I heard they are VERY good .. NO worries and very reasonable ... iN FACT ... they save alot of $$ .. GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND ...

Ohh, I just wanted to know how she planned to do it....not that I would go through with it- as I figured that is what would happen....it would disappear. Just figured if a mail order name popped up, I would try it myself...
I am completely ruined by this shortage.
Otherwise, this is just another day I have lost the bout with the pain and been able to do nothing.

No No No .. I have been following the slow, steady, horrific attack by the DEA on the medical profession & it's pain patients. It is THEM who have caused the shortages .. & if it's up to them ( and it is ) they may just remove it completely .. but this is hypothetical. Right now, They have closed numerous mfg. plants due to high volume sales/closed the numerous "Pill Mills" as they've been labeled due to fraudulant activity that has been between the dealers, go-betweens ( Dr.Shoppers) and on down the line ... They have indimidated Doctors, Pharmacists AND put limits as to how much the Pharmacy's can order on one month. Consequentially many, many Pain Patient are brutely made to suffer as; not only are they having great difficulty to find a Dr., to treat them anymore ( some of these people's reg. Dr's have refused completely to even write the script anymore out of pure fear of the DEA and what they threaten to do if anything is out of line... much more to this but trying to keep condensed .. lol ... AND incidentally this happened to me with my Dr. of 8 yrs., so I know first hand ) AND along with that .. WHEN they do find Dr. even then, if they get their prescriptions written .. they are more than HARD PRESSED to find a Pharmacy to fill them ... Personally I have to drive 6 hrs., whole day trip when I get my medications .. and I am lucky because of the Pharmacy I dealt with, I saw this coming, have a good relationship and still give them my business since moving ) BUT most people, even when the Pharmacist know them ARE FEARFUL of the DEA .. and are limited .. .the Story of this nightmare will NOT END SOON ... so either do what you must .. but hang on, it's going to get worse..
WAY TOO MANY CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS ARE SUFFERING BEYOND BELIEF @ the hands of the DEA because ALL THEY ARE CONCERNED WITH IS BOASTING ABOUT THEIR VICTORY'S .. as I've stated above .. BUT NEGLECTING the fallout, collateral damages beyond measure in INHUMANE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS IN FLORIDA INCIDENTALLY .. but the fallout is reaching the rest of the country also ... Good Luck
