Shingles And Fluid Retention

Does fluid retention come with shingles? I have developed fluid retention after shingles appeared after a week. Is this common?

No, that is not a normal symptom of shingles, according to the AMA, the typical symptoms include skin rash, blistering, pain, fever, and headache.

Have you been prescribed any medications to treat it? Some medications can cause fluid retention as a side effect.
