UpdatedHow long can you have latisse before it stops being effective? If you don't open it and use it for a few months does the active ingredient(bimatoprost) stop working? Do you have to have fresh product?

What is the expiration date provided on the packaging, or label? It is always best to stick with that, and not use it past that date, since it may lose effectiveness.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dry eyes, darkening of the eyes, headache, and light sensitivity.
