Serious Surgeries

My name is james..I have 18 pins in the right side of my body. My right ankle is messed up. My right knee has four pins. My right hand has 10.. My right shoulder has 4 bone screws, all new tendons and donor parts. My L 2.3.4.5. is seriously messed up... My left shoulder shoulder is popping and grinding...im a mess !! I take 6 10/325 a day..and I have been for along time..like 8 yrs!! My pain management dr put me on 5 5/325 Percocet...I WAS WORSE FOR A MONTH!! I wanted back my 10/325. now the 10/325 is barely working...I get very lil relief from them...I think I should be taking something way stronger...im in pain most of the time. ive tried to talk to my dr..im scared ill get hooked on Percocet...but the pain is massive...I cant even move sometimes and I just cry..im gonna try and get them switched to Percocet...but the 5 5/325 did nothing!! I don't know if they will switch them to something like 10/325 Percocet maybe 4 times a day... cause I turned them away...and they just did an mri on my right knee..i keep falling..and I have rolled my right ankle 2 times since I seen them last...what do I say...what can I do..i feel stuck!!

You may actually do better with a higher dose of Oxycodone without the Acetaminophen. Opana, Dilaudid and Morphine are also other alternatives you could discuss with your doctor if the Percocet hasn't been working well for you.

The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What type of doctor have you been seeing, is it a specialist?
