oval, pink tablet MO53 Septra DS -- prescribed for bladder infection in a child to be taken 1/2 tablet at bedtime -- what is the amount of septra ds in this tablet??

Septra is actually just the brand name of this medication, not an active ingredient. This is a combination antibiotic that contains Sulfamethoxazole 800mgs and Trimethoprim 160mgs.
