What is this pill - oval, purple, scored on one side and 1FA on the other. My friend says 1mg xanax? Is he BS'n me?

This is a Mexian drug, Alprazolam 1mg, generic for Xanax. Illegal to have and use in the U.S.

I guess he was not BS'n me although he did say he got it from the government naval pharmacy? That might be BS if it is illegal in the US. Thanks for your reply.
