Sandoz Bupropion (Top voted first)

Hello I was just prescribed 100 mg of bupropion sr twice a day. It's a blue pill that says E410. I was wondering if this pill causes weight gain?

Hi Ali, How are you?

Contrary to what you might be experiencing, the drug monograph for Bupropion only lists "weight loss" as a general side effect, and nothing to do with weight gain in that regard. However digging a little deeper I did notice other individuals post their concerns about having problems with gaining extra weight while they were taking Bupropion.

With that said, part of me does wonder if taking this medication may have resulted in certain changes in behavioral/emotional patterns when it comes to eating more or less food throughout the day. The ironic part is that it also lists "loss of appetite" as a potential side effect as well...

Perhaps following a strict diet/exercise regimen would enable you to determine if Bupropion is really having that much of an effect on your weight in the long run.

i have been taking 150mg bupropion mfg by mylan now they changed to watson which leaves a lump feeling in my chest, but i can sleep at night whereas mylan pills keep me awake now they want to give me the mfg sandoz, should i insist on mylan ?
