Is the new formulation of fioricet now class 3. A controlled substance.

It is the same except it now has 25 mg of Tylenol less. The ratio of tylenol to the barbituate changed and that is what made it now a controlled substance. It's crazy!

That is what being on Schedule III means, it's been found to have potential for abuse and dependence. The Butalbital in it is a barbiturate.
But you do need to understand that most prescription drugs are considered controlled substances.
