Roxicodone contains the active ingredient Oxycodone and Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone. Both are narcotic analgesics, but they are different.
Learn more Roxicodone details here.
Learn more Dilaudid details here.
They both have the potential to be habit forming and may cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
And one may just work better for you than the other. That is completely normal and that's why there are usually several medications available in any given therapeutic class, everyone is different, so what works great for one person may not work well for another.
Is there anything else I can help with?
