First of all, let's clear up the fact that there is no medication called Roxicontin.
Many people confuse them, but it is actually two different products. One is called Oxycontin and it is a time release formulation of the narcotic Oxycodone.
The other is called Roxicodone and is a regular release formulation of the same narcotic, Oxycodone.
So, both contain the same active ingredient, one is just time released.
