Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm seeing online is a white round pill imprinted with "A|B" on one side and "CG" on the other. I don't know if this is what yours may be like as well, but this particular tablet is identified as 10mgs of Ritalin (Methylphenidate), for treating ADHD & narcolepsy. The manufacturer is reported to be Novartis (which doesn't appear to be a US-based company).

Are the letters on your tablet also split between a score line?
