this pill is supposed to be acarbose 100mg but it doesn't match what I had before. The acarbose I took before had an M on one side & A over 100 on the other side. The acarbose this time is plain on one side with the number 54 up top & undernieth are the numbers 251. Both pills are round & white.

This is a 100mg Arbacose tablet, since it is a generic, it's manufactured by several different companies and they'll all have different markings. It's most common side effect is diarrhea.
