I recently found a bottle of pills that says hydromorphon (without the e) 8mg and the bottle also says it is a replacement for dilaudid. The problem though is the pills are just round and white and say nothing on them. I would like to know if these are truly what the bottle is.

There are no unmarked Hydromorphone tablets available in the U.S. So, they are most likely not what the label claims.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
