I was told that the new oxycontin 80mg tabs will have 80 on one side & OP on the other side

someone please tell me what a green pill that looks identical to an oc 80 but says OP instead of OC on it , what pill is this??? it is slightly flatter than an oc 80 but is exactly the same minus the op intstead of oc

These OP pills that you are asking about are the reformulation of Oxycontin. These will be around from now on, the old OC pills are no longer being produced. Purdue has said that as of right now 90% of pharmacies will be carrying the new OP oxies. This is their way of trying to combat abuse of their medication.

yes- these are the new 80's OC's -- they cannot be crushed to a fine poweder and snorted or injected. Once you take the coating off, you can tell the differnce immediately....

The grren pill with OP written on it is the new reformulated oxycontin 80mg. They were made so ppl can not abuse them.

Is there going to be a difference in the price? or the co pay on the new oxycontin op? I know my co pay was ridiculously high on the oc, can't help but wonder if the new ones will be higher

The new op ocs SUCK you can't bite them in half they are suppose to be made so people won't abuse them by snorting or injecting them! I understand completely what they are doing but its ruff 4 the ones of us who don't abuse them. They also are hard as a rock sometimes I feel as if I don't need a whole 1 & my doc told me to break it in half so that's what I've been doin for 6yrs! My husband tried to break a few in half & put them in my bottle & he couldn't do it with a $75 knife from Lowes! I had to go buy a pull up pill cutter and hit it against the wall. Also I put 1 in my mouth to see if it would desolve & it turned to glue almost like when a kid glues his pointer finger & thumb together with elmers glue or pizza cheese or a spider web so I wouldn't suggest anyone put them up your nose because you might not be able to get it out! Or breathe! As far as smoking it that's the 1st I've ever heard of that. I had to go thru a class b4 my doc put me on them!

TO Mr. Oxi -

No, you cannot smoke the new OP Oxy pills. For one thing they are harder than hell to break up or crush and smoking them tastes like plastic or rubber, and harsher than hellon your throat and lungs too. Completely worthless to smoke, my preferred ROA.

Yeah just got the new OP yesterday. Hell my friend went to the same pharm as me the day before and got the old ones then with my luck I get the new ones If you use a hose clamp they will shave down but not as fine as the old. Also I heard to put them in the microwave for 15 seconds. Not sure what that does but hey at this point anything is worth a shot

so if u put an op in the microwave the gel runs to oneside and it powers on the other and u can snort it lol

You can snort the OPs and get the high if you use the microwave method. or use a toaster oven. The gel in the new ops make it hard to do much with, but if you use a file from a leathermen or whatever works for you, you can make it into a powder. Put it in until it turns light brown then as soon as possible put it in the freezer for 2 mins. Worked fine for me, still get the drip and gel doesnt f--- it up. It gets a little chunky and looks like you have less but you dont lose much mgs.
