Round Bluish Green Pill Scored With No Markings

I have a pill that's small (a little smaller than a pencil eraser), round, bluish green & not shiny, with no markings except for a score in the front | middle for halving a dose. Vet says it is metronidazole but it is making my dog sick.

In what was is it making your dog sick?

Nausea, and vomiting can be normal side effects of Metronidazole, in both humans, and canines, according to FDA reports.
