I found these pills dated back to 1971. There is no label. They are light blue pills with a cursive R on one side, nothing else on the other. It looks like an m & m. Can someone tell me what these are?

Actavis makes a round light blue 1mg Alprazolam tablet with a capital cursive-like "R" on one side and "031" on the back over a score line.
I wonder if yours is an older version perhaps?
For verification, the pill in question carries a National Drug Code of 0228-2031.
