Round 1 White Pill Or Tablet With G173 (Top voted first)

Found these in my daughters purse, two of them in a baggie that shows a piece of paper made in china, cant be correct wrapper but looks sort of like a over sized tums and tastes sort of minty. I licked the back to see if it tasted medicine like or what I got, minty/tingly

This is a generic antacid like Tums. I got a roll of these when i was at the airport and had heart burn. They are minty and they do work.

These G 173 tablets were in a bottle of 140 CVS Smooth Antacid Tablets. I assumed
the G was for Generic and 173 a sequential listing number. Taste is similar to a Tums although it is a larger tablet. 11/4/17

My research leads me to believe that Guardian Drug Company may be the manufacturer of these pills [hence the letter 'G'], seeing as they make OTC mint flavored Tums, Rolaids and Mylanta tablets.

These are a cvs brand type of tums. Just found some in my sons room and matched them to the container in my medicine cabinet.
