I don't believe a drug testing facility would test for a medication used for treating the symptoms of Parkinson's disease or Restless legs syndrome. Ropinirole is in a class of medications called dopamine agonists. It works by acting in place of dopamine, a natural substance in the brain that is needed to control movement.

They also can't test for something and hold it against you if it's already naturally occurring in the body. That just wouldn't make sense to me if they did.

In either case, if this is your prescription of Ropinirole, you can simply present the lab or employer with a copy of your script prior to the test, that way if something did show up, at least you wouldn't be held accountable for it.
