Hello, Shane! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had.

The FDA lists Risperdal as a very potent antipsychotic and such medications are well known to cause some problematic side effects, in some people that take them. Other side effects may also include nausea, dry mouth, weight gain and sedation.

However, the issue with side effects is that they will wear off, they tend to improve over time, as your body gets used to a medication and will also go away, once you stop taking it, though it may take a few weeks.

How long have you been off of it?
