Is there a replacement for butalbital/aspirin/caffeine out there 50/325/50? It was the combo of the drug that worked for me.

Your brands generic brand may wanna ask your pharmacist about it because its not real expensive

You mention natural alternatives to Butalbital. Could you share these? I use Fioricet right now for headaches and it is very expensive. Looking for an alternative.

I have MS and im 52 yo woman who had been taking fiorinal since being a teen. I have now been dxed with ADHD and was rxed vyvanse to assist with my job as a nurse. Now my neurologist won't rx fiorinal. Is there a natural alt to fiorinal.?

Hi, the butalbital is for migraine headaches- and I've been using it for a LONG time. I think the combination of the butalbital and the aspirin and the caffeine relaxed my neck enough to get rid of the headaches, and I only have enough pills left for about 4 or 5 more headaches, and I'm out of them and I know they are no longer available.

Hi Debbie,

I know that you can certainly find Aspirin and Caffeine on there own OTC, but as far as Butalbital is concerned, I think you may have to talk with your doctor or pharmacist about other drugs in the same class of "Barbiturates" (such as Phenobarbital).

This combination of meds is most commonly used for treating tension headaches and mild pain relief, but I believe it has a few other uses as well. However, depending on what you plan on using it for, there are plenty of other natural alternatives that are well worth trying in my opinion.

If you could please post back with any additional details on what you're using it for, I'd be more than happy to offer a few suggestions for you in the natural field of medicine.
