Replacement For Dormonoct Or Generic Medication (Top voted first)

Hi. I've given Dormonoct by my doctor 2mg for 6 mnths to use. I still don't 'switch off' at night and are fully awake at 3 or 4 o'clock, no matter how late or early I take my meds. Is it too early to know that the meds is working or not? Are there any other medication similar as Dormonoct 2mg that I can use? Are there any change for weight gain with these meds - I've struggles to loose weight and don't want to gain it again just for meds that doesn't work! Oh, what is the generic of Dormonoct (asking due to the price)

If there is a generic available where you live, it would be under the Loprazolam or Triazulenone, it is related to benzodiazepines.

The U.S. FDA warns that this class of medications carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

No, it shouldn't cause weight gain.

How long have you been taking it?

I've been using the meds for only one month now. Luckily I don't experience one of the side effects that you've mentioned. I will find out about the generic - cost effect it could help me as the medical aid does not pay for Dormonoct as a chronic medication. But if this is the best medication to use with the less side-effects, I'd rather keep on using them.
