How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you!

Re: JustMe (# 21) Expand Referenced Message

Bad versions of Norco 10/n-358s have been spotted in Detroit. Be careful.

I have the same issue with Walgreens in Michigan and Amneal mfg. The pills were chalky, dust everywhere and I got no pain relief at all... I had to take ibuprofen and 4 at a time to get just small pain relief. I wondered if they were fake also but don't know how a pharmacy could buy fake medication.

Your tolerance is way to high to norcos. Sometimes when you take the same medication for a long time you build up your tolerance. You should probably let your doctor know, and see if you can possibly be prescribed something a little bit stronger.

No matter what pills should be marked, it is to keep mix ups. Maybe an employee is stealing the real things. Do they help pain and last?

Re: myst (# 15) Expand Referenced Message

I have been looking lately and have not seen anymore like it. I took 3 in 2 hours with zero relief, they stopped working. I went to my doc and got a new med and it worked. Those were not. So then my doc gave me extended release with the oxycodone and I have been fine since but I look at every batch and haven't seen any black spots for a long time. Maybe they gave bad 1's to see if we are really taking it? Who knows? I just feel there is an agenda.

Those are fake. That is exactly what the ones with heroin look like. They also leave a slight greasy feeling. If you get the Fentanyl fakes they'll be powder-like when you break them.

Toss them in a glass of water and pour it out somewhere safe. Wash your hands and any thing else they've touched because even small amounts of Fentanyl on your skin can cause an overdose. Wear gloves when doing this no matter where they came from.

Some pharmacies are getting them over the internet which come from China and have anywhere from tramadol to the two I just spoke of.

To guarantee that you have hydrocodone break it in half and shine a white light on the middle of a broken piece to see the hydrocodone. It will look like tiny specks that look glittery. Though both of the two I mentioned are opiates and when pressed into pill they have a very dull white to grey look. Some will even look dirty so that will also help.

If they have no bitter taste or burn the gums spit it out and rinse your mouth ASAP. If you start to feel sick then watch for other signs like rapid or slow heart rate that most have said they can tell without taking their blood pressure. If you have those signs then you need to seek a doctor's opinion to make sure you took the correct medicine.

You can buy a drug panel in store to also check to see if you are getting hydrocodone and not tramadol or bunk pills.

I live in Alabama and they've had to analyze many lately thanks to pharmacies trying to cut cost. The Watson 853 is what a family member was getting and the FDA sent a warning stating a few of our Health mart pharmacies got theirs off the internet. They had it evaluated for tramadol instead of hydrocodone and it cost them their medicine for a month because the doctor thought they got it else where. They have stage 4 liver cancer and suffered for a month because of that pharmacy screwing up like this.

yes the pills were marked but they were off a bit I could tell I am stilling getting same pills but without the tiny black spots I check every month if I do get more they will be returned to pharmacy to be replaced they should not be able to give me contaminated meds .

Re: Lettinuknow10 (# 22) Expand Referenced Message

Their around Lansing, MI too a friend of mine came across some made her severely sick, migraine and other things. She said it must of had a bit of hydrocodone in them because she felt some pain relief but whatever else was in it was no good. The 10 on the back is spaced far apart, the pill crumbles when you break it and there is little to no taste to the pill.

I'm trying to reach out to the FDA or someone to contact me asap as I think that the Walgreens in Birmingham Alabama on roebuck parkway sold me some bunk pills. I haven't taken anymore of these pills after they made me throw up. I'm really trying to contact someone. I'm also going to contact a layer on Monday.

Hello, Arlene! How are you?

No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere.

Are there any markings on the tablet in question? That information would enable to check more details on it for you, such as if there are known fakes.

The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
