Hello, Ann! How are you?
This medication does not become dangerous, once expired, but they do lost effectiveness over time and, even if still sealed in the originally factory sealed container, the maximum shelf life is only about 5 years, thus it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new supply, if you still require such a medication.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
