These are 25mg mixed Amphetamine salts in a time release formulation, a generic for Adderall XR, so it isn't safe to open the capsules, anyway. They should only be swallowed whole. Doing otherwise creates the risk of overdose.
Side effects to this medication may include nausea, headache, insomnia and anorexia.
