Quadriderm, Allergic Reaction (Top voted first)

I have an allergic reaction to latex balloons. I've had a pretty bad rash on my face. Would quadriderm work for me?

Hello, Liz! How are you? I'm sorry about the allergic reaction. My husband and I both have reactions to latex, so I try to keep it completely out of the house. He gets horrible hives, if he comes into contact with it and I get itchy and develop a rash anywhere it touches me.

Quadriderm contains Betamethasone, which is a steroid that is often used to treat allergic reactions, so it may help, if your doctor approves of your using it. Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include skin irritation, redness and dryness.

Do you take anything to try to prevent such allergic reactions?
