The usual antibiotic used for UTIs is Nitrofurantoin, however, it may not have been appropriate for the bacteria they found causing your infection.
The typical antibiotic side effects, as reported by the FDA, may possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Has the Phenazopyridine helped, at all?
