is morphine stronger than oxycontin? or are they the same.

This tablet contains 30mgs of Morphine ER, generic for MS Contin.

That said, while they are both very strong narcotic pain relievers, Oxycodone, that active ingredient in Oxycontin, is the stronger of the two.

Side effects common to them both may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation.
