Purple & Gray Pill

I have been talking omeprazole 20mg purple and gray pill for the past 4 days. I been having stomach & lower back pain. I stopped taking it yesterday how long does the back and stomach pain last for?

Hello, Jim! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.

Omeprazole can sometimes cause those types of side effects, in some people that take it, as listed by the FDA, along with dizziness, headache and flatulence.

However, if you have an acidity problem, then there is a chance that the pain could also be caused by it, rather than the medication. Thus, it would be best to have it checked out by your doctor to be sure.
