Purbac For A Month

Hi I was on purbac for a month for prevention of pnuemonia. During this time I had fever reoccurring. But most of the unpleasant side effect about this drug, is that I had my menses for the whole month. Is this normal?

Are you also on oral contraceptives? If so, antibiotics such as this one, can reduce their efficacy, which may result in spotting and bleeding, while you're taking it, as reported by the U.S. FDA.

Other typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms.
