besides flomax & hytrin and avodart what is there to treat BPH?

I have BPH. I tried Avodart and found it frustrating: it was very effective in removing symptoms of BPH fast, but unable to move beyond turgid for intercourse; if climax occurred , it felt like someone strangled me down there, ie: the gun fired but no bullets. I was switched to Cialis 5mg: just as effective on BPH but slower to have an effect. Took 4 months for effects of Avodart to wear off. Gun has bullets. But Cialis also can have side effects in some people.
