Prolacting Lebels Is 9.3 Ug/l And Tetosterone Is 118k Ng/ml Are Low Or Higher In Females

I am a female. lately I was feeling very tired and my hair was falling. The last time I get my labs my prolactin was 9.3 ug/L. My doctor. then suddenly I felt with more strength that and my hair stop falling. when I get my labs where my prolactin was 9.3 ug/L I was under spironolactone because I was getting facial hair, but when I stop taking the spironalactone, my head hair stop falling, but my facial hair was appearing again. this time my doctor make some labs and my testosterone was 118K N Ng/ML so I do not understand why my body produce too much tetosterone that makes to grow facial hair on my face, and if I take spironolactone, it makes my head hair to fall down. So what are the normal hormone levels on women. I am 40 years old , and I am in hormonal replacement therapy. one time my doctor observed that my tetosterone levels were 16 and said it was low, but I felt normal, but when my tetosterone got 118K Ng/ML which they say it is to high. I had to say that when I have my tetostrone in 118K N/ML I felt with more strength, but my face was becoming very masculine something I hate because sometimes people think I am lesbian. So any body knows why this happens what are the normal hormonal levels for a woman of my age. I also want to add that when my tetostosterone was high, I was very easily aroused which I love that, but I hate masculine effect. when I was in my 20's I did not have that problem, but now I don't know why is this happening to me. I will appreciate if you have any thoughts that help me to understand this. thank you

These hormonal fluctuations are normal at your age, it's called perimenopause and can start as young as age 35 and usually lasts until a woman finally reaches menopause.

You just need to work with your doctor to find the right balance for you to solve most of these issues.

Have you ever tried oral birth control? Sometimes that can help, since it will balance them out for you, but you can't take it at your age, if you smoke.
