when I was a child in the baby booms days and at that time it was a common problem with a lot of the young people, it was at that time called boils. There was a drug at that time by prescription called sulfur tablets and it would treat the problem and it really worked without having to torture yourself by puncturing the head of the boil. Is there still a medicine that treats simular problems of the same conditions, that contains sulfur. I sure hope there is because I am having a problem with the something of the simular outbreak. Please let me know ASAP if anyone out there knows of anything that will help besides the old black tar looking cream, because I've already tried that. I hope there is someone that can help me with this problem. I've been having the same occurences every week and at my wits in on finding out how to treat this problem.

Sulfur really isn't commonly used anymore, because it caused allergic reactions in many people, which is why sulfa drugs are used so cautiously now.

The main issue is that you need to discover what's causing your outbreaks. If it is due to bacteria, then you may need an antibiotic and one that's commonly used to treat this is Doxycycline.

Learn more Doxycycline details here.

I do strongly urge you to contact your doctor, just to be on the safe side. I recently started breaking out again myself at a very odd age and twice now, the breakouts have become infected causing facial cellulitis.

This last time the doctor prescribed Doxycycline to try to eradicate the bacteria that's causing the breakouts.

Does anyone else have any suggestions or advice?
