Problem Of Delaying Next Period Due To Primolut Nor

Hi I want to ask that I used primolut nor last month to postpone my period.i started it using 7 days before my expecting date and used it for almost 12 days 3 tab per day by suggestion of doc..after when I stopped using, 4 days after I got my period with heavy flow and pain.now my question is that my next period is not coming and its almost 10 days over..I also took self preg test m not pregnant..now I am in worry wht to do is there any prob...because we are also planning for baby as its been 2 yr of my marriage and yet no child...wil this also effect my capability to conceive..plz ill b v thankful if you satisfy my questions..

This is a hormonal medication, so taking it for awhile may disrupt your normal hormone levels, which could result in your cycle becoming irregular for awhile. It may take a few months for your body to balance things back out on its own, again, and for things to return to normal, according to the NIH.

And no, it will not affect your ability to conceive in the future.

Have you and your partner had any fertility testing done?

I was placed in primolut n and duphaston to bring my period. I got my period back after 3days of stopping it. Now it's seems it's not forth coming I the second cycle and am not pregnant either. What could be the problem.
