Primolut N Tablet, Spotting

My doc prescribed primolut n for me to get my periods.. I have pcos and periods don't chine for almost 2 months each time.. But I have been spotting and passing clots etc but not all the time like during your period.. Should I take the primolut now to induce a proper period or should I just treat this like my period and start taking the BC on the third day? Very confused
