Prexim High Blood Pressure

I am presently using prexim 4mg for blood pressure, and experiencing a slight throat irritation causing me to cough now and again. is this a normal side effect/ and if so why / and what is causing this to happen/

Yes, that can be a side effect of many blood pressure/cardiac medications. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, headache, hypotension and increased urination.

However, the cough doesn't usually go away as most other side effects usually do, so you should speak to your doctor about trying a different medication.
