Updatedhai. I have just started using the oralcon pill so does that mean my periods will stop cause iv been bleeding for about a month now?

It may help regulate them, but it could take about 3 months, before you know if it will work for you and some women do stop having periods, while taking oral contraceptives.
The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and spotting.
