Prescription For Bear

My vet prescribed previcox 227 mg for my dog but the pills he gave me have
bp-car 100mg printed on them. Is this the same drug or did he make a mistake

No, they are not the same medication. Previcox contains the active ingredient Firocoxib, but the one you've been given contains Carprofen. They are both non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, but not the same. I'd suggest contacting them to double check which your dog should be taking.
