Prescribed One Antibiotic Pill Every 12 Hours
UpdatedI forgot what my doctor said about how to take my antibiotic UTI meds. I think I'm supposed to take 2 a day (every 12 hrs), along with Pheno..(azo). I took one on day #1 at 2:15pm and another one at 6:15pm. What should I do if I took the second dose too soon?

Generally, you can't overdose on an antibiotic, unless you are allergic to it, or it has contraindications with other medications that you are taking. However, it is always best to double check with your doctor, or pharmacist.
The FDA does warn that you may experience more side effects than usual, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea.
How are you doing? Did you experience any adverse effects?
