someone help! I am prescribed roxicotins and just found out I am pregnant. What should I do?

when I was pregnant with my last child my O.B.presribed me percocet.10mg.s for my sciatic nerve damage pain&from what I researched then,theres no known cause of birth defects associated with opiate usage during pregnancy!!My little girl was JUST FINE&had nothing2all wrong w/her!!CALM DOWN&discuss w/your O.B.

Dear Allie, my cousin has had two babies recently that were addicted to roxies. It has been really sad to be around them just think the way you feel when you are without. The withdraws, the shakeing the sweating, the body aches, and not being able to sleep, we all have to take turns staying up at night with them so my aunt dosent have a nervous breakdown. oh I forgot to menchion the social workers took the babies. So my aunt got them. but anyways just think the way you feel, the baby would feel the same way but you would be the one who has to help it. So just think first. If it were me I woulbreak myself down and quit. If you dont you will regret your decision. Take it from someone who knows it first hand. Good Luck with your decision its up to you mommy to protect your little one.

my girlfriend found out she was preg and he tryed to wing herself down and then put herself into a methadone clinic. well when she was withdrawing she had a misscarrage s just stay withthe oxy it will not affect the baby when its born the docs can give it meds if needed to make sure it isnt sick but metadone is the worse thing to putinto your body the withdraws are so much worse than suboxon or roxys...

you shouldnt take pills while you are pregnant, it leads to birth defects in your baby and your baby will be born addicted to the same type drug you are taking, also if the hospitol doesnt know you are taking them and your baby is having withdrawls then your baby could possibly have breathing problems or die! its very sad and i know because my little17 yr old sister just had a baby and is still in the hospitol, its been 5 weeks.

give them to me haha jk i dont think you should take them while your prego i think it would make the baby come out addicted to them.Jusy my opinion.

roxy and pregnant. I was perscribed percocet wheni found out i was. My dr. sent me to vanderbuilt to high risk ob-gyn to monitor my meds & preg.dr. said it would be worse risk to come off the meds of yrs. than to take them. roxy & percs are same except percs have tylenol.
