Pregnancy After Acutanne

i would like to know if there is anybody in here who got pregnant just 30 day or less after the last dose of accutane ,or anybody who could give me real facts about how long accutane really stays in the body,i got pregnant exactly 29 day after my last dose and i'm really scared cuz i want to have this baby but i need to be sure he/she will be fine

Well, you are supposed to prevent yourself from becoming pregnant for a full 30 days after your last dosage, so that would lead me to believe that it can still cause some problems for at least that long, after finishing it.

That's what you have to sign the iPLEDGE agreement and use 2 forms of contraception.

Have you talked to your doctor? They should be able to do some tests.

I got pregnant months after being on accountant for less than six months and my baby was born prematurely. She had to be on a monitor and didn't stop crying for the first year of her life. She never slept at all unless she was being held, in stark contrast to her older sister. I would advise strongly waiting a minimum of six months after taking this horrendous drug before becoming pregnant. My daughter is now 23 And she and I are still suffering the medical consequences.
