I am 62years old. Doctor prescribed Pregabal M for ache in the small of my back and stiffness in the back of the thighs, back of the knees down to the ankles. What should be the dosage and for how long it should be taken? Does it have any side effects ?

First of all, I would like to state that ALL medications carry the risk of side effects!

Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to be effective at helping certain types of nerve pain.

This combo doesn't appear to be available in the US, so my information on it is sketchy.

Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dizziness.

As to dosing amount and length, this site is not medical professionals, so I can only suggest that you should follow your doctor's instructions.

doctor has told me to take it for 8 months. is it safe or it effects brain?? and i am just 22 years of age?? actually i have got a seatbelt injury i.e. whiplash injury in an accident and its almost 3 months i am not able to recover...........

I am 65 years old, before 3 years back i had problem of VERTIGO as stated by doctor and given some medicine.TELMA-R 40/5,DYTOR,10,UNICOMZN Pert,VERTIN 16,BEPEE,STALOPAM PLU 10/50,CTW X10. from 2008 till to dayso many medicine, Testing and injection i have regularly taken visted to show all report to doctor they changed tablets and allways with inection and their own madicine but one from other new and new problem in my body. And before 2/3 weeks i shown my report of "Thyrocare" and told me that your weight i increased(from 85 to 95) in 2008 when they checked me my weight was 85 and after that 10 kgs weight increased and for my new problem is started of while walking continue for 5/10 minits my both the legs are soom(Sleep) and then slowly thai portion of body effecting for that my doctor seen report and told me that "Potassium is 6.3" and told me for alternate day injestion of Vitamin 20 days and given new medicine NICARDIACD 30,RAZEL 5,MAHAGABA M75 & PIOKIND M15/500.. In me life i have not taken any medicines or injection but in these 3 years i have taken but instead of benifit i am one by other problem in my body statrted. Now i heard that any medicine we are taking it will not effect after 6 months as our body blood use to andside effect of that medicine remain in body hence doctors are prescrabing diffent medicine evey times and side effect of that starting. I personally seen all these in these 3 years. Now doctor told me to try walking for 35 minitus dailly i started to walk but previously i was efected of problem after 5/10 minitus walk but after this much injection and medcine i m now effecting problem withi 2/3 minitus. Now what is the use of these much medicine, injection and valueable time as i am businessman. Now any expert please guide me and oblige.

I am having the problem of cervical spondolysisat C4-C5 but there is not much pain. Sometimes ,there is dullness in my right hand .Doctor has advised me pregaba-M 75.My age is 58 years.
Please suggest ,should I take it or any other minor dose will be halpful.
