After 2 years on Prednisone at 10mg for RA
I'm worried about tapering off and how to do it.
My Dr. has moved and I'm not seeing one now.
Trying to handle on my own.....Advice, please.

Hello, Mimi! How are you?

If you've been taking it for this long, it needs to be slowly tapered off, by gradual dose reduction.

The best thing to do would be to see a new doctor to get their assistance, because they can prescribe the lower dose tablets to help you.

There can be some dangerous risks associated with a sudden withdrawal after long-term use.

You really need to find a new doctor, anyway, so just doing so now would be the best thing to do.

Is there anything else I can help with?
