Prednisone 5mg For Gout

My dosage is 4x5mg daily for 5 days then 3 for 3 days then 2 daily for 3 days then 1 tablet daily for 3 days then stop
My question is ! On the daily dosage for example 4 tablets per day do they have to be taken altogether or do you space them out over the day

They can be taken either way, depending on what works best for you. Some people prefer to split them up to try to minimize the side effects.

The U.S. FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, insomnia and nervousness.
